The new PVR-S2 HD, provided with a satellite tuner DVB-S2, 2 Common Interface slots in order to support all the existing CAM modules, 1 CAS module for smart card, allows to receive and videorecord in digital mode all the new broadcasting stations in clear and scrambled that broadcast in high definition TV (1920x1080). Moreover, trough the internal scaler and the HDMI digital output, it really improves the sight of the traditional broadcasting stations because it increases the resolution to 1920x1080, becoming the necessary linking for whom has a HD television set, such as the Jepssen FHD LCD TV.
All the recorded programs can be see anytime, without any problems of time or use. Simply pressing a key it’s possible to start a recording (OTR) and to choose the duration, with the Timer to plan the programs to record and to create your own TV palimpsest (single events, daily and weekly). It allows to see a previous recording while recording another program or, just in case, to stop temporarily the sight of the live program and, later to continue the sight such as it has never been interrupted.
Through the 2 Direct Access USB 2.0 ports, one placed in the rear panel an the other placed on the front panel, it’s possible to transfer the made recordings to an USB external hard disk (up to 1 Terabyte/1000GB) or to a USB Pen or directly to a computer in order to store or to burn them.
All the videorecordings transferred to the computer can be edited using the most popular softwares in order to eliminate the advertising or the useless sequences. All the functions can be activated from the remote control, selecting them from the multi languages OSD menu.
The firmware setting’s update is easy and fast, because it is done through the USB 2.0 port and, so, avoiding the connection to a computer.
Connected to the hi-fi system, trough the SP/DIF digital output, it allows to enjoy the absolute quality and the spectacularity of the sound in Dolby Digital AC3.
The PVR-S2 HD fits to any installation’s need being fully compatible with any fixed or motorized (DiSEqC, USALS) equipment.
Created, like the other products, with Jepssen revolutionary philosophy - unitary bricks technology - the PVR-S2 HD, even if it’s able to work alone, linking it to a Jepssen computer or to the other Jepssen modules, it increases its large basis functions without any limits, creating some applications impossible to create for any other personal video recorder.
