The new MediaLan ML- 4 HD is the multimedia network player and management of remote devices and extends to every other television, videoprojector or monitor placed in any room of the house or of the office the functions of the Digital Box or MegaBox or of computer/notebook, creating the first real multimedia High Definition net (Full HD/1080p).
 A net for everything
The MediaLan HD interacts with all related products directly through the LAN port 10/100 or wireless version JPL PowerLine/WLAN (Wi-Fi). It allows to surf Internet through the built-in Web Browser and to do the streaming video functions (Internert TV and Radio, etc). Besides it can be used as a NAS unit.
A net for everybody
It’s possible to use a boundless number of MediaLan and the postings can be increased or modified with the growth or the change of the demands.
To create the net is very simple and the recognition of the new postings is automatic.
Jointly and independent
MediaLan HD can be connected to a USB hard disk or e-SATA to 2 TB (Terabyte/2000GB) or a USB Pen to play all the functions in an independent way from the same net.
 The encumbrance extremely reduced makes easy to put it in any furnishings’ solution (in particular way in the case of very narrow spaces) and it also allows an use as a portable multimedia archives.
The functions can be managed from the frontal panel or through the remote control given in bundle or, till a distance of 10 meters 360°, through the 2,4GHz Wi-Fi wireless multimedia optical trackball keyboard (opt.).
MediaLan fully supports the high definition up to 1080p (video, audio and photo) in all the most popular formats (Mkv, H.264, WMV9, M2TS, Avi, DVD, VC1, MPEG1/2/4, XviD, ASF, TP, TS, etc.), it allows through the internal scaler to increase the resolution of the standard definition (SD) video and photos (ex: DVD and DivX, etc.) up to 1920x1080p and it has HDMI 1.3 output and digital optical S/PDIF output with Dolby True-HD and DTS-HD . Besides it be can linked to the equipments that have analogical inputs through the Composite Video and Audio Stereo output.
On the MediaLan it is present also a USB 2.0 and e-SATA port for the direct linking to other equipments, what for instance video cameras, MP3 players, USB Pen, e-SATA or USB hard disk, to allow the reproduction or the transfer of all the files.
